Very serious blended red wine. Its layers of flavour reveal a wine of considerable power and complexity. This wine has excellent cellaring potential. It originates from the Gimblett Gravels region in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand and it pairs well with beef and venison. In 2009 it won the New Zealand wine of the year award.
