Weingut Scheiblhofer Batonnage 2015 is a legendary premium red cuvée from Burgenland, Austria, widely regarded as one of the most iconic Austrian wines.
In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby-garnet color with intense aromas of blackberries, dark cherries, plum, spice, and subtle chocolate notes from its aging in new French oak barriques for about 18 months.
On the palate, it is full-bodied, powerful, and complex, with ripe tannins, concentrated dark fruit, and elegant structure, leading to a long, refined finish. This vintage is known for its exceptional depth and excellent aging potential.
