Château Montrose 2016 is a benchmark wine from Saint-Estèphe, widely regarded as one of the finest vintages of the estate. Crafted predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, it reflects both terroir and vintage at the highest level.
In the glass, it reveals a deep, almost opaque garnet color. The nose is intensely aromatic and complex, with layers of blackcurrant, cassis, blackberry, and dark plum, complemented by notes of graphite, cedar, tobacco, and subtle floral hints.
