Pinot Grigio is one of the world’s most popular wines. It is produced in a range of styles, from the light fruity Italian style that has gained popularity, to a more mineral, flinty rich wine favored by the French. It is an excellent table wine: the pink grapes produce a golden yellow wine with copper hues and reflections, where its intense aroma with nuances of acacia flowers and lemon, accompanies the velvety bitterness of its aftertaste.
Its rounded flavor moves freely from fish to cold meat, from gnocchi with meat sauce to Milanese saffron risotto, from pasta with aubergines to risottos with herbs. Excellent with fish and white meats, in particular with boiled meats. It should be enjoyed at 12°C in summer and at 14°C in autumn and winter.
