Description
Echo de Lynch-Bages 2018 is the elegant second wine of Château Lynch-Bages, offering a refined and accessible expression of Pauillac’s renowned terroir. Produced from carefully selected younger vines and parcels, it receives the same meticulous care as the Grand Vin, delivering both quality and approachability.
The 2018 vintage is composed predominantly of Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot and a small proportion of Cabernet Franc, and aged for around 12 months in French oak barrels.
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color with purple reflections. The nose is expressive and layered, revealing aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, plum, and graphite, with subtle hints of cedar, spice, and floral notes. On the palate, it is rich and structured, with a dense core of dark fruit, polished tannins, and a balanced freshness that adds precision and lift.
