Le Petit Ducru de Ducru 2021 is the charming second wine of the esteemed Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, offering a more approachable, yet refined expression of Saint-Julien. It displays a deep ruby color with violet highlights and a nose of red and black fruits—raspberry, cherry, and cassis—layered with subtle notes of cedar, graphite, and soft spice.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with supple, polished tannins and bright, fresh acidity. Flavors of ripe berries, red currant, and plum are complemented by hints of tobacco, vanilla, and delicate mineral undertones, leading to a smooth, elegant finish.
