Description
A refined and expressive Bordeaux from the excellent 2018 vintage, Château de Fieuzal RG showcases the elegance and precision of the Pessac-Léognan appellation. In the glass, it reveals a deep ruby colour with youthful intensity. The nose is rich and layered, offering aromas of blackcurrant, ripe plum, blackberry, and cherry, complemented by elegant notes of cedar, graphite, cocoa, tobacco, and subtle spice from careful oak ageing. On the palate, the wine is well-structured yet polished, with fine-grained tannins and a balanced acidity that gives freshness and lift. Flavours of dark berries, cassis, and black cherry are supported by mineral, earthy undertones and hints of vanilla and spice. The finish is long, smooth, and refined, with excellent depth and harmony.
