Description
The 2014 Château Haut-Brion is a beautifully balanced and classically styled vintage from one of Bordeaux’s most historic First Growth estates. It reflects the precision and finesse of the Pessac-Léognan terroir, delivering both aromatic complexity and understated power.
In the glass, it shows a deep garnet color with youthful ruby highlights. The nose is intensely layered, revealing aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry, intertwined with notes of cigar box, graphite, cedar, and the estate’s signature smoky nuance, accented by hints of dried herbs and spice.
On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with exceptional balance. Fine-grained tannins provide structure without heaviness, while vibrant acidity carries the fruit with elegance.
