Опис
One of Bordeaux’s most iconic wines, Château Léoville Las Cases 2010 is a monumental and highly structured Saint-Julien that is often regarded as “First Growth level” in quality. Crafted predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, it reflects the estate’s exceptional terroir bordering Pauillac and its uncompromising precision.
In the glass, it is deeply opaque with an inky purple-ruby core. The nose is intensely complex and slow to open, revealing layers of blackcurrant, blackberry, cassis, graphite, cigar box, crushed stone, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, powerful, and extremely concentrated, with a dense yet refined structure. The wine delivers waves of dark fruit, licorice, cocoa, and mineral tension, supported by firm, finely grained tannins and remarkable depth. Despite its intensity, it maintains precision and freshness, leading to a long, resonant, and persistent finish. The 2010 vintage is built for the long term, showing immense ageing potential and evolving slowly over decades. It is a wine that rewards patience, with complexity and finesse continuing to develop over time.
