Petrolo Galatrona 2017 is an iconic Super Tuscan crafted from 100% Merlot, widely regarded as one of the finest expressions of the grape outside Bordeaux. Produced from a single vineyard in the Val d’Arno di Sopra, this wine reflects exceptional terroir, precision winemaking, and remarkable depth.
The bouquet is intense and layered, revealing aromas of blackberries, dark cherries, plum, and violets, complemented by notes of Mediterranean herbs, graphite, dark chocolate, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerful, yet refined, with velvety tannins and vibrant acidity providing balance and structure.
