The Smidgin XO is a premium edition gin, aged in a French oak Chardonnay cask offering the sweetness of chocolate, vanilla, and crême brulée with a touch of smoke and citrus. This is one of 500 bottles from the French oak barrel that was filled three times with Chardonnay wine before we bought it and filled it with our Classic Smidgin gin. Resting gently in the MCM distillery for 200 days the old Chardonnay barrel has transformed Smidgin into a rare and unique gin with a lovely warm texture and a touch of sweetness.
