After major upheavals in the early 1900s, especially the First World War that destroyed more than half of Louis Roederer’s property, Léon Olry Roederer rebuilt the vineyard. He decided to buy grapes to ensure the continuity of the house, during the difficult period that followed, at the same time creating old-fashioned wine that would have a consistent taste, regardless of the year of harvest. That product is now called Brut Premier.
The wine is packed in a box with two glasses.
