In the glass, it displays an intense deep ruby color with violet reflections. The nose is vibrant and aromatic, opening with ripe blackberry, black cherry, and plum, layered with floral notes of violet, along with hints of licorice, cocoa, and subtle toasted oak.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and beautifully structured, with velvety tannins and a refined, polished texture. The fruit is concentrated yet fresh, supported by lively acidity and a mineral backbone. Notes of dark fruit, spice, and a touch of mocha lead into a long, elegant finish.
Food Pairing: Excellent with grilled steaks, lamb chops, game dishes, and rich mushroom-based cuisine.
Drinking Window: Approachable now with decanting, but will continue to evolve and improve through 2035 and beyond.
