Château Capbern 2017 displays a deep ruby color with purple reflections and a classic Saint-Estèphe aromatic profile. The nose opens with blackcurrant, dark cherry, and plum, layered with notes of cedar, tobacco, graphite, and subtle baking spices.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with firm, structured tannins balanced by fresh acidity. Flavors of cassis, blackberry, and damson are complemented by hints of earth, espresso, and spice, leading to a refined, slightly mineral finish with lingering red and dark fruit.
