Madame de Beaucaillou 2022 is a refined and approachable Bordeaux from the Haut-Médoc appellation, offering a modern expression of classic Left Bank style.
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby colour. The nose is expressive with aromas of blackcurrant, ripe cherry, and plum, complemented by notes of violet, subtle spice, cedar, and light toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with a smooth, elegant texture. Flavours of dark berries, cassis, and gentle cocoa are supported by fine, well-integrated tannins and a fresh backbone of acidity, leading to a balanced, polished, and persistent finish. Typically based on a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, it combines structure with softness, making it enjoyable in its youth while still offering short- to mid-term aging potential.
