Description
Our Yakka is named after the hardy Xanthorrhoea plant which is ubiquitous in Australia and found around Longview’s perimeter.
Matured for 15 months in old and new French barriques, the wine displays vibrant blue fruits, spice, flavours of dark chocolate and coffee. This elegant, cool-climate shiraz is medium bodied, and finishes with a delicious vanillin length and velvety texture. Like the Yakka, it is dramatic and structured and will thrive in most occasions.
