A refined single-vineyard Barolo from the prestigious Sottocastello cru in Novello, located in the heart of Piedmont’s Barolo region. Produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, the 2019 vintage is celebrated for its balance, elegance, and excellent aging potential.
The wine opens with intense aromas of ripe red berries, dried rose petals, balsamic herbs, tobacco, and subtle spice. On the palate it is full-bodied and structured, showing polished tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, persistent finish with earthy and mineral nuances.
Aged for at least 18 months in oak barrels followed by bottle refinement, this Barolo pairs beautifully with braised meats, game, truffle dishes, and aged cheeses. Decant before serving for the best expression.
