LOCATION: Chateau Miraval is one of the only properties in the Provence that has its own private valley in Correns north of Brignol. The vineyard includes two designations: Coteaux Varois en Provence (on north-west) and Cotes de Provence (to the east of the property).
TERROIR: The grapes are picked by hand in crates and then sorted. Gentle pressing. Low temperature fermentation. Aging in oak barrels (600 liters) and barriques (225 liters) with batonage of 50% of the composition.
TASTING: Attractive transparent and shiny color with green- golden reflections. The nose is very delicate and complex aromatic bouquet of notes of white peaches and juicy yellow fruits subtly combined with grilled and toasted notes and white flowers. Full of freshness, the palate reveals aromas of freshly picked whites peaches with a nice texture and roundness, perfectly balanced with the minerality and the right acidity. This wine with a large elegance ends with a long finish.
VARIETY: Rolle: 100%
