Description
Miraval’s winemaking philosophy is deeply influenced by the sea spray and the estate’s proximity to the Mediterranean. The saline soils impart a distinctive character to the wines, culminating in a subtle, iodine-like finish.
All grape varieties undergo direct pressing. Cinsault and Tibouren are vinified in stainless-steel tanks, while Grenache and Rolle are partially fermented in egg-shaped vessels. Their unique shape encourages natural convection currents, keeping the fine lees in suspension and replicating the effect of bâtonnage. This process enhances the wine’s texture, complexity and structure.
A beautiful, crystal-clear, pale rose-petal hue with delicate silver undertones. The nose reveals an enticing aromatic bouquet of white flowers, cherry blossom and juicy peach. On the palate, the wine unfolds with refreshing notes of white fruit, elegant minerality and remarkable length, delivering a beautifully balanced and refined finish.
Food Pairing: Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with salads, grilled dishes, Mediterranean cuisine and sushi.
